Landscape Engineer
Welcome to my Substack. You can call me Ish. I have a background in landscape architecture and civil engineering, but to encompass my system-of-systems approach I refer to myself as a landscape engineer . I have an interest in compound flooding modeling and analysis especially along inland waters and infrastructures. I observe different cultures’ water infrastructures to speculate bio-economies resilient against flood and drought. Especially as modern systems are increasingly vulnerable to climate whiplash, my design research explores low budge water infrastructure design techniques deployable in guerilla fashion for off grid communities.
